Vie de femme

Vie de femme is an annual luncheon held in Verdun to celebrate the lives and achievements of women. Les caisses Desjardins de Verdun are the principal organizer and sponsor. The 2012 edition is the fifth one.

Each year, Les caisses Desjardins de Verdun choose one or two charities that will benefit from the event proceeds. This year, the Douglas Institute Foundation was chosen along with the Verdun Hospital Foundation. Appropriately, the theme of this year’s luncheon will be women’s health. The two health charities are collaborating to ensure the event’s fundraising success.

Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Bell campus on Ile-des-Sœurs

Douglas researcher Dominique Walker will speak about the specific effects stress has on women.
