The Douglas Institute Foundation is proud to be one of the ten member organizations of MONTRÉAL WALKS for Mental Health. MONTREAL WALKS’s main mandate is to raise funds for mental health services and destigmatize mental illness through the organization of an annual walk. In 2011, more than 800 people walked together in downtown Montréal.

TIME: 10:00 A.M. Pre-registration or sign- in /11:00 A.M. Walk begins

This year, MONTREAL WALKS is operating under a new fundraising formula. Individuals and teams can raise money for their own organization by collecting sponsorships. Since the Douglas is one of the ten member organizations, 80% of the money raised by Douglas walkers will go to our Foundation, while 20 % will go to MONTREAL WALKS. Donations that are made to the walk online (on CanadaHelps.org) can be designated to one of the ten member organizations.
