On Thursday, October 10th, the Foundation welcomed some 130 guests to the Marché Central location of Cinémas Guzzo for a special screening of the movie Gravity. 

The Foundation raised $ 12,300 thanks to the generosity of our guests and the collaboration Cinémas Guzzo.

The cocktail space and IMAX room were generously donated by the Guzzo Family, who have also offered us 30-second advertising space at each screening in their 141 theatre rooms in their 10 locations across Quebec during the month of October.

The advertising they will be playing was created by Ogilvy Healthworld, who offered their creative services to us pro bono. They produced two ads, one in French and one in English, which deliver a clear and effective call-to-action, encouraging Quebecers to help the Douglas stop mental illness. We hope you will see a movie at a Guzzo location to see our ads on the big screen. They are even more effective in full size. However, we have also made them available for you below.
