Thanks to an unprecedented $2 million gift from Bell Canada, the Douglas Institute will be able to improve facilities and expand recruitment and research activities for its brain bank.

On Bell Let’s Talk Day, Bell will contribute $.05 for every text message and long distance call sent to mental health related initiatives.

The PEPP program helps youth suffering from mental illness recover from the illness and get their lives (including school, work, and relationships) back on track.

This new facility marks an important step for mental health treatment and research.
